AHi everyone, I have been asked to make a bowling ball cake and the lady would like some sort of fruit flavor, something that isn't too sweet. She tried my banana cake with passion fruit SMBC and would like something similar. My worry is that she wants a 3D ball and so the cake needs to be sturdy enough so it doesn't crash on me. Apart from making the banana cake again all I can think of is a Madeira cake with raspberry/ lemon or passion fruit SMBC. Does anyone have any other ideas that will be solid enough not to collapse?
