Yes, they are clear egg cartons. I couldn't find the correct size box to hold a dozen, as this is how I sell them in my shop, and so my DH said 'put them in egg cartons, they make clear ones you know'. So I ordered off ebay for less than $100 and got 500 with free shipping, and here is the finished product, complete with dressing. See, even husbands have great ideas. I love the look of these!!!!

Another member a while back said she used the clear egg containers that were offered at the supermarket (with eggs in them).  She used her containers to store tips and set up royal icing flowers and gum paste flowers, etc.  Many of us were jealous; we'd never seen clear cartons.  This packaging for your "cruffles" looks FABULOUS!    I am very impressed that you have this gorgeous, professional, packaging for 20 cents a carton!  The ribbon, label, and mini-cupcake liners are probably another 20-30 cents.  WELL DONE!

To all responses, thanks for the nice comments.

 

Where did I get the cartons from?

I got them on ebay, it was a one time deal, but there are other sites that sell them, just do a search for "clear egg cartons" I have put a couple links in a previous response. But watch ebay, you never know.

 

Where did I get the logo tags from?

I made them. I have been making my own business cards, brochures, and every other business type thing for a long time, I even made my own scratch off

cards, Bakers Dozen cards, and Frequent Customer cards. They have been a BIG hit. I am enclosing pics to show everyone interested.

BTW, I have a program I just save everything to, and I just rearrange the cupcake on the scratch off card and print several of each sheet so that the cupcake isn't in the same place. I then attach silver stickers made especially for scratch offs to each card, and then tear apart.

So I ordered these and got them yesterday...tried packaging a couple... but they don't shut completely from the sides and corners right?? There's a half inch opening on 3 sides... that is how they work right? Just wanted to make sure :) Thanks!

Yes ma'am. there is a small gap, but several "buttons" as I call them, that snap together. The cruffles will be ok like this, due to the dipped chocolate surrounding them. Share a pic of your finished dozen. Thanks.
