Hello! Recently i have been baking matcha cupcakes for a couple of times already, the taste, texture everything's fine. Except that there are light brown spots in the cupcakes and i do not know what causes it. It only happens in my matcha cupcakes and not other kinds of cupcakes so I was thinking is it the quality of my matcha powder that affects it? Or does temperature affects the matcha powder quality? I have been searching on google for answers but to no avail. Hope anyone of you knows! =)

Are you using oil?  If so replace with melted butter. And don't bake as long as other traditional cupcakes.
