Does anybody know how I can make vanilla syrup to lace my cakes? And can I make it with vanilla extract.

I make it by putting some vanilla extract into my sugar syrup.

Make a simple syrup and either add vanilla extract or steep a vanilla bean in it while preparing.  This link has recipes and flavorings if you want:

The security here won't let the word ****tail go through in the paste feature.  In the link above/\/\/\/\/\/\/\, fix the ***** so that it reads ****tail  !!!!

OK SUPER security - The word is the name for a party where you might serve drinks - not a MOCKTAIL party, one with a lot of alcohol.
