Hello,
We recently made a castle cake that had approximately 300 small gum paste flowers. We found that it would dry almost immediately. Any advice on how to extend it's moisture before it dries?
Thanks,

Thanks for your responses. We had the task of making approximately 300 mini flowers for the castle cake and we noticed that after rolling the gum paste out and cutting the flowers then shaping them by the time we got to the 10th flower or so it would dry out and crack when being shaped. We rolled out smaller pieces, but when it comes to having to make so many flowers were hoping there was a way to keep a larger section of rolled gum paste moist???
This should help tremendously: http://www.ehow.com/how_8398208_keep-gum-paste-soft.html
