Hey Everyone,

I am about to try gumpaste flowers for the first time for an upcoming gender reveal cake.

I have these 5 petal flower cutters: http://www.goldaskitchen.com/merchant.ihtml?pid=9412&step=4

Anyone have any tutorial links/suggestions on what I can do with them? I know that they can be used for roses but I'd like to try something simpler to start for my first try.

Thanks!

Hi, you can make all kinds of flowers. I make peonies using them. Google how to make g/p peonies. with 5 petal all in one cutter. Also google cake girl on the run blog and you will see what i am talking about. hth  You would use the large cutter for the peony. You can make g/p poppy also.
