I'm sure this has been asked before.  But I made more American BC than I needed.  I use shortening & butter in my recipe.  If I freeze it will it hurt the consistency or flavor at all?

What about freezing cream cheese frosting?

Thanks, Mary

I freeze butter cream all the time.    Does not change consistency or flavor.   I don't know about cream cheese....I would think it would thaw out more runny than what it was before.

Yep I freeze mine all the time too.  I just put it in a doubled up zip lock and it's good.
