Several months ago I received a pm on here from a magazine called "Shoeholics" asking if they could feature my Converse Shoe cake in their magazine.  I said sure!  Well that entered me in a "shoe cake of the year" contest.  I just got an email today that I've been nominated.  WOW, that's pretty exciting considering I didn't even know I was entering anything :-)

I also noticed other cakes in the contest that I've seen here on CC.  So by all means if you see another shoe cake you think is worth it "Like" that one!
