What would you charge for this piping??

Hi everyone,

Was wondering if anyone had advice on what to charge extra for this type of piping. I don't know how long it takes because I have never done this design. So if I should charge for my time, not sure what to do.

If you don't charge for your time .... you are working for nothing :(

 

If you haven't done this before I would suggest piping a similar design onto an upturned glass ??  something vertical and similar size/shape to what you need - I'm not suggesting you do the whole thing - but say... do 1/2 an hours worth... make sure you factor in the making of the icing, the sifting of the sugar etc etc.

 

See how much you get done in half an hour....  take a VERY CRITICAL look at it.... is it going to pass??

If it does then you have a fairly good indication of just how long the entire cake will take

 

If your piping isn't so good , I think you should pass on doing it ..... bad piping with this sort of design looks really BAD!  The piping IS the cake and there is really nowhere to hide :(
