i am a start up business so i'm learning as i go. i have my first customer who wants me to deliver an hour and a half away from my shop. how much should i charge?? help!

We charge $1.50 per mile, one-way. So if they are 100 miles away, cost is $150.00 + tax (not $300).

yes...Plus you have to take into consideration that the time you're driving could be time that you're delivering other things, so that means you'll have to turn down work if you can't coordinate deilvery tmes. Don't short yourself on delivery fees because they also make up for work that you could be doing in that time.

It's semantics, $1.50/mile one-way, or $0.75 each way and charging round trip :). I also have a $15 minimum fee, so if it is less than 10 miles, there is a flat fee of $15.
