Wonder mold princess cake advise needed

Hi there :)

 

I am making a practice cake today using the Wilton Wonder Mold pan. I have a design all figured out for the dress part but I am wondering if anyone has any advise for decorating the doll using buttercream.

Here is a video on you tube that uses buttercream.  These people do not use the barbie cake pan but you can see how they decorate the doll in nothing but butter cream just to give you an idea of what others do. There is a part 1 and part 2 to this video.
