I HATE the new format. It is hard to use and hard to search. Hard to read comments as well. Comments meant for other people show up on my albums. I may unsubscribe, delete my pictures. I hate to, cause I am still waiting for the magazine to print after paying for the subscription over 2 years ago. I am afraid if I close my account I'll NEVER get a magazine!! ya'll have problems to work out.

Typet in what you're looking for (ie. Micky Mouse) in the search box and click on the little magnifying glass. When the page changes, look on the left hand Navigation bar and click on images. Hope this helps.

Hi. Go to your cakelady1994 page. Scroll down past "recent activity" (your forum posts) and you will see some of your pics. on the right hand side just above them click on view all and they will come up. I see you have 3 pages :)

I can't find anything anymore. I can't find my own photos unless I do a search for one of them. I can't figure out how to start a new forum page (I wanted to share a technique I've recently started using), I can't figure out the site at all. I've just spent almost half an hour trying to figure out how to do a new forum topic, but somehow stumbled in here and figured this is as close a place for me to post my frustrations as any other. I saw the owners page where it tells me to search for the answer before posting in there. I can't find anything, how the heck am I going to search something I can't figure out?
I rarely come in Cake Central anymore and I miss it terribly. And I know I'm not the only one. I have many friends who used to be in here all the time but have the same frustrations I have and tell me they don't come in at all anymore. I still make an attempt on occasion, get frustrated to death, and leave again. I miss the Cake Central I used to spend hours in every day.

This is how I bring up my photos quickly: On the front page you will see Newest Photos. To the right click on View All and when the page changes you will see right above the pics :
Show (with a dropbox) and FROM: ME /People I Follow / Everyone . Click on ME and all your photos will come up.
Hope this helps,
Jeanne
i tried what the prior j winslow suggested, and i couldnt find the ME /People I Follow / Everyone . i did find the show and from drop boxes, but neither of them had the rest. the way i usually find my pics is to click on Gallery, dropbox gallery home, then to the far right is a purple button to upload photos. just to the right of that button in pale blue that you can hardly see, it says "all your photos". click on that to get to your saved photos. its ridiculous. we should be able to access it from the home page, or it should be a drop down in the Gallery box, or just under our name where it says logout. i hate searching for things on this new site. i hardly come here anymore also, because its a hassle.

I don't understand why you don't see what I do, BUT you can also;
Click on your name (front page on the right next to log out) and your profile will come up (pretty teapot, BTW)
Scroll down past Recent Activity to Lalaine's Photos. You will see some of your albums. Click on the View All Photos (on right above the albums). I see you have 5 pages of pics - nice!
Here's hoping this works for you :)

I cannot tell you how many times I clicked on my name and only saw was my profile and recent activity. Who would ever have guessed I had to scroll to the bottom to find my photos. This was the easiest way. Thank you.
Thanks all for helping. I still can't navigate the forums anymore. I feel like once I don't post in this one, I'm just lost out there again.
I just think it's so sad that a site that used to be so easy to navigate and had a warning about it being addictive, and it was addictive, that now it's just too hard to navigate. No site, of any kind, is good if it's not easy to navigate. Even when you start out to get more advertisers to pay for space, you lose your revenues when the number of hits keeps going down. I don't see any of these changes as being good for the owners or the Cake Central Community who has loved this site for so many years.
PLEASE, PLEASE, make this site user friendly again.
