Question...why are our favorites multiplied now?? some of my favorites are now 5-6-7 or 10 copies of the same image?? do I have to manually delete them??

Is there any way the 'new' photo's can be viewed in the same format as the 'most saved'. It is so easy get back to where you were in the 'most saved '. I find everything else is great & really like it.

I agree with everyone else this new format isn't very good.  I can't search and find anything, I like coming here for ideas but now I can't search for anything or find anything.  Please go back to the way it was before.

I don't care for it at all, of course I am simply a viewer. It took me forever to find my fav pics. When I found the link, it was a nightmare. Most pics had anywhere from four to eight copies of each pic..and if I tried to delete A copy, then all copies of that pic disappeared.

I have to agree with Bluehue's comments from a couple of pages ago. I've had no problems with the new format and have found several things that I like better than before. And it runs a lot faster on my computer (and, let me add, I use IE9 with no problems!). There were a few things I was having trouble figuring out, but from wading through the 10 pages of comments (so far) on this thread, I've found out how to do most of them. From me, everybody at CC gets a big "Thank you, thank you, thank you"!

Thank you for the changes to the way pictures appear in our gallery.  It is much better to see each cake in its own folder, and the arrangment by most recent is better too.

I started looking through my favorite photos and see that I, like many others, have had many of them multiply like the proverbial rabbits, but I see from the link in one of the posts above that it's being looked into. I'm grateful for FromScratch,SF's well-reasoned comments about the updates to the site and only wish everyone could be patient and rational about looking for ways to do the things we need to do here. In the long-run (and even in the short-run), the site is much improved by these changes, even though we might be struggling to figure out how everything works. My one suggestion is a whole lot more tutorials like the ones that Jackie is writing and which appear at the bottom of every page under "New Articles". The ones I have read have been very helpful in figuring out how to navigate under the new format. Again, thanks Jackie, Heath, HuddlerSteph and everybody else for working to make this site ever better. I know what a massive undertaking this is and congratulate you all for the wonderful job you're doing. I hope you all get a well-deserved vacation at the end of this - I'm sure you're going to need some stress relief!

So far my favorite new feature is forum replies and private messages appearing directly in email notifications.

Won't call it my favorite (that goes to the new ease of uploading multiple photos of one cake) but its easily up there in the top five.

IS CAKECENTRAL LISTENING??

i dont like it either, too hard to navigate, takes too much time.  and now with the pics in our favorites quadrupling, its hard to find pics that we saved!  so frustrating!  please go back to the way it was. why do people always think sites need updating?  its like facebook, they ruined it when it went to timeline.  again, too much stuff to sift through, hard to find things.  keep it simple, people!
