What do you think of the recent changes to CakeCentral?

yes agreed!! there is too much going on in the views, too confusing. And the site takes longer to navigate through, its much slower. and i dont like the layout..

...and why did we loose the ability to scroll on the pics in the front page?? now you have to view them all, that sucks! 

I hate the Community Gallery on the Homepage too Rosie2.  It is my biggest peeve.  Every morning while having coffee I like to check out the new uploads, you have to look at all of them and if you click one to enlarge or get more info, as soon as you click back you are on the first page again!  Are you kidding me, you can look through the Community Gallery but don't click anything or you end up back at the beginning.  Really dumb.  I don't want to have to go through each individual gallery (Birthday, Wedding etc...) to see what is new.

I don't want to follow people or be followed.  It has gotten too weird for me.    

I am not liking it so far, and I have been here for six years.  I can usually adapt to the changes, but this is intrusive and annoying.  I just cancelled a pay subscription to another site because it was annoying, and now my favorite site goes and changes drastically.  I don't need to know every detail about every member, I don't really want them knowing it about me, either.  I would have appreciated a way to catagorize my favorite pictures that is true, and to catagorize my favorite threads or recipes, but I am mostly just annoyed at having to go thru so much to find what was easy to find before.  Sorry, Heath and Jackie, I don't mean any offense, but this is just my opinion.

I don't like the category/album breakdown in individual galleries...not in my own or when viewing other members galleries.

I use to enjoy viewing other members galleries in a per page, cronological order, display format. Whenever I'd find an inspirational pic, I'd link to the member's gallery and peruse thier body of work. Having to now drill down into various categories just to see one, two, a few photosets, and repeat the process (multiply by however many categorical breakdowns there may be) to see someones entire body of work or portfolio is a hassle.

I'm grateful that "my favorite photos" are not presented by category...I seriously doubt I could remember what category someone else might have assigned to a photoset.

I often use the Galleries Category --> Album filter to view major themes, most recently Holidays --> Halloween. And I like the viewing option to sort 'recent' vs 'favorite' images. Category/album grouping works well for mass collections, not so much for individual profiles/galleries.

 I love to sit at look at the new cakes and save my favorites..with the new changes ..when I go back to list I have to start all over again! many new cakes will get lost in the shuffle and wont be seen!

Please fix! we should be able to view a cake and go back to where we left off.

I agree with everything that has been said. I can,t sign in on home page. I have to right click, the click open and then sign in. Hello????? i don,t like anything about it. Home page looks out of whack .Same cake pics and same questions all week. Whats that. I do hope they can fix some of the things that are confusing to all of us. I love this site, but now too hard to get onto. Wish i could sign in as i have all these years. It will come a pop up. saying internet explorer has modified this page to help pteven cross-site scripting. I really don,t know what that means. But it tell me under more info , not to disable anything. Hoping for help, soon.

Glad to know I'm not the only one how doesn't like this new page.  What happened to the "favorite's" page.  And the search bar.....I'm trying to find 70's Theme cakes and when I type that, it pulls up something totally different.  Just spend 20 minutes searching for nothing.....PLEASE go back to the old version. 

I can't even figure out how to search the galleries for a particular subject matter any more!! I don't like this at all!
