I have a co worker who wants a tea party theme baby shower cake. The baby is going to be a little boy. Does anyone have any ideas or pictures they can share with me? I tried doing a search online and just didn't come up with anything. Thank you.

A tea party theme for a little boy????  That's an odd choice.  For a little girl maybe. Can you make it more masculine by making cupcakes with a swirl of blue icing on top and letters stuck into the icing spelling Baby Boy when you assemble them together for the display.  Then make little gumpaste or pipe cleaner handles to insert into the cupcake and down the side of it - turning the cupcake into a coffee cup with a blue swirl of whipped cream on top.  That's all I can think of.

And in this season of politics, "tea party" sent me in another direction entirely. icon_redface.gif

AJust out of curiosity I Googled tea party cakes images and quite a few came up. Some really cute ideas that could be used for a baby boy...like a baby boy in a tea cup.

I just did a cake for a shower themed "A Baby is Brewing" for a boy. I designed the cake after the invitation. I just couldn't bring myself to put my sugar baby in a cup of hot tea so made bubbles instead, LOL!

I'm with Leah, I would ask them to define "tea party"
