I'm from the uk, and i love Georgetown cupcake! I've noticed that they have some great election day cupcakes on their home page http://www.georgetowncupcake.com/. The cupcake toppers are made from from rice paper and then the images are printed onto them.

Here in the uk, our rice paper disc measure 5 cm as the smallest! Georgetown cupcake seem to have really nice little ones, which look much nicer! Can you buy them this small in the US or is there another way of making them so small?

Any help would be great!!!

Those aren't rice paper. They are inch size fondant buttons with stencilled designs.

Disagree, they are fondant buttons, but the images are printed on rice paper, attached to the fondant then cut. All you need is rice paper, an edible ink printer, and a large piping tube. Print the image on the paper, roll a thin piece of fondant, brush it with a little water, put the rice paper on it, then cut out with the piping tube.

Pretty easy, really, as long as you have the edible ink printer.

Yes icingimages sells 1.25" pre-cut circles and you can also get paper punchers in tons of sizes and use those to punch out your images in any size/shape you like (just a little more time consuming). FromScratchSF is exactly right about the method of construction on the Georgetown CC toppers.
