i absolutely DESPISE coloring fondant! My daughter's birthday is in a few months and I am looking for a rich dark blue for one layer (to resemble the color of the Beast's suit in Beauty and the Beast).

The American Blue from Fondx Elite looks closest, but I was wondering if anyone had seen in person the Blue from regualr Fondx or the Satin Ice Blue. How rich are the colors, for lack of a better word?

Sweetwise has a sale going on, plus 10% off, so I was thinking about ordering a some fondant.

Thanks so much for your help-

Erin

I do not have any Elite blue, but I do have Satin Ice, regular FondX, and Duff's fondant in blue. IMHO, the regular FondX is the truest blue. All three are rich, intense colors, but FondX has a truer blue hue. Satin Ice is second and Duff''s is third judging by primary blue color chips. I am not familiar with Beast's suit icon_redface.gif - I'm looking at color wheels.

Regular FondX is the closest of the three that I currently have in hand to the way my screen displays that blue. But, different computers can show colors differently.
