Hi, can anyone help me? I'm wondering how I would go about making these swordtooth chocolate shards for an upcoming birthday cake?

I hope the photo comes in view!!!

With Tempered chocolate. Using parchment paper. Layer and smooth the chocolate on top and let stand till it's nice and cooled. Then cut out the how many you need.

What I need to know is how to cut them all of uniform size and shape. I guess there is no way to do it without having lot of scraps of chocolate left over.

SCRAP chocolate??? LOL

You re-melt and re-use.

Size and shape--make a paper pattern. Then they are exactly the size and shape you need. Make extras.

Ha ha, Thanks girls. I made a template of the 'sword tooth' shape and I lined it on baking paper top to tail. I can fit in quite a few without having to do too many sheets of melted chocolate.
