Hello everyone,

I don't have a cake contract yet and I was thinking that maybe I should start having brides sign one. Is it necessary? And do you only do it for wedding cakes?

Thanks!

Michele

It would be a very good idea.

And you should use a contract for ALL cakes over $50 (or whatever) so that you can collect a deposit and be paid on time.

Other detail: do not accept checks as final payment--cash or CC only to avoid NSF trouble.

That's what I thought. Contract it is. Thank you! icon_biggrin.gif
