Hi everyone,
I will be travelling 2500 miles in a couple of days for my son's wedding, which is next week. I am making his wedding cake. I wonder if any of you have travelled like this and what, if anything, do you wish you had taken with you for decorating purposes. I am so afraid I will forget to take something.

You would be amazed at how many products are only sold locally. Example: My sister lives in Utah & they do not have White Lily flour. If you are planning on purchasing ANY ingredients, make sure they will be available.

Go through, in your mind, all the steps of making this cake. As you do, make a list of every single thing you touch. Write it all down. Then, go through again....did you miss anything? Write it down. That way, you're more likely to remember everything you will need.
