Have any of you ladies used these containers for selling individual cupcakes?

Before I ordere them, I wanted to see if anyone had used this type before. It seems like it would hold the cupcakes well, and they are relitively inexpensive. (with shipping I think they come out to be only $ .23 a piece.

I haven't used your suggestion... but I like these...

http://www.clearbags.com/single-cupcake-bag-set-100-pieces-cbg1.html
They come to about 38 cents for 100 and 18 cents for 1000...

I believe they ship and store flat...

The company also makes one that holds two cupcakes or ones for jumbo cupcakes...

Those look really nice, but you can't stack them. I want to be able to stack the cupcakes for space reasons. I'm making 3 batches of cupcakes for a bake sale. Space is not going to be something we have a lot of. The containers have to stack for them to work.

They are really pretty though. They'd be great for a shower favor.

My cake shop stocks these and I have used them in the past. They are wonderful except for two things.

They allow only enough room for basic frosting. Even then I've had a small amount of frost smoosh to the top of the case. Not bad, but there is no room for any decorations other than sprinkles or mini chips.

The other thing is they are air tight, so if you are able to fit a fondant decoration on top, it will melt in a few hours because of the humidity. For basic flavors without decorations on top these are great though!

I use Lindar products. Love the cupcake holders - strong and reliable. More expensive than using upside down drinking cups but worth it. They're made from recycled or renewable materials. You can order directly from the company. http://www.lindarcorp.com/food-packaging/single-serve-packaging.html

Hi MimiFix. I just checked out the website and couldn't find any prices. I'm looking to get the 4 count cupcake holders. So far I've found these on papermart and they add up to $0.49 each after shipping is included. How expensive do these Lindar containers run compared to others, do you know? And do they require bulk orders? Thanks!

Hi vgcea, I order by the case, so I don't know about smaller quantities. The salespeople at Lindar are exceptionally helpful, so I suggest you call and ask for help. Often they can make suggestions about other packaging products that might also work. Hope that helps!

I ordered them and they are GREAT!  I love them.  There are two sizes, and I ordered the smaller size.  My regular sized cupcakes fit PERFECTLY in the cute little container, and there is more than enough room in the top part for frosting and decorations.  I might have issues if I want to put something tall in there, so I'll have to get creative, but overall, I'm happy with my purchase!!!
