Here's a tutorial on how to do a car cake that I did a couple of years ago. You'll have to do the specific car template from pictures, but this will give you the idea of how to do it. http://www.acaketorememberva.blogspot.com/2010/04/car-cake-steps.html

Thank u very much!
What kind of u to help me. I am very happy that I got an answer. the best part of it is that I got a DIY explanation of how to do it icon_wink.gif

And I have to ask, what do I use to cover the cake with? I saw that u used fondant. Can I use something else?

I am new at this so any tip u have is very welcome icon_wink.gif

Hi Giz,

If you can get your hands on Mike McCarey's Cakenology Vol1: Car Cakes DVD it is very informative. Mike walks you through making a car cake from start to finish.

You can use fondant or modelling chocolate, either will work. Or a combination of both.

When i made a 350z car I found a template of the roof sides, back, and front online. I just searched 350z drawing. Then i baked a 9x13in cake cut into 3 parts ( into a T) and stacked and filled then stuck the drawing on the side of the cake and carved it to the picture. Helped a lot.
