In my humble opinion it's garbage! don't waste your $$ -- I bought it and is now sitting in my garage catching dust
Follow the experts advice and get an agbay...I have not gotten one myself since I'm a hobby baker, and I don't do that many cakes, but it's in my list of 'toys' to get this xmas

I know that this post is a while ago but I thought that I would put in my 2c worth.
I have this Zenker.
- It will cut only as well as the knife that you use.
- You have to rotate the cake to finish the job as the knife does not go all the way through (obvious because there is a small column that holds the tin together).
- Large cakes are ok but I make smaller 8inch cakes and they slide around.
- It only does round cakes.
- It makes pre-set cuts.
Not tried it with nuts or chocolate chips so can't comment there.
So, all up it is restrictive but not bad.
