I have an order for a Halloween/Wedding cake and the bride has a skeleton bride and groom cake topper she wants on the cake but its pretty heavy. The cake topper is about 3 6/8" x 2 11/16" but the smallest cake separator that I find are 6". Any ideas in what I can use or where to find a small cake separator for this cake topper??

Is the base of this topper solid? You can just put a couple of dowels in the cake and set the topper right on it. Another option if you really want the plate, is mirrors at the craft stores. You can get 3", 4" circles, whatever.

Dowel the cake and cut a cake circle to fit the topper and place both on the cake.

Yes the cake topper is solid icon_smile.gif Thanks for the ideas I was planning on just cutting one of the boards I have at home but I'm going to check if I find one of those small mirrors. Thanks everyone for your help
