Can dried gumpaste/fondant flowers go into the fridge???

I would like to put the flowers I made on my cake right now, but it will be chilled overnight. Can I put dried flowers that I made of fondant mixed with Tylose into the fridge. They were made yesterday, so they are completely dry now. I would hate to pull it out tomorrow and have them go limp on me. TIA

I would not do that, I only place the flowers on the day off delivery just before delivery or at the venue.
My cakes do not need to be chilled, the condensation will effect the flowers. HTh.

I had a client to freeze her GUMPASTE iris's for a year. She loved them so much. Her middle name was Iris. lol!!!

That is what I am worried about sweettooth101. I have heard of people doing it, and I have put 2D figures in thr fridge without any problems, but I am a little nervous about the flowers.

Has anyone ever done this and had success when they came out??

I have and they were fine. Just overnight, though, and they were on a fondant, not buttercream, covered cake.

I always put any fondant flowers and gum paste decor on my cake and chill overnight. But I would never freeze gum paste decor. There is no reason to. Once dried thoroughly pack them away carefully in a container and they last for years. Just keep the dust off of them and away from harsh lights.
