Where can I buy this from near Greensboro, NC? They don't have it hear. Not in Sam's or Costco.

Sams sells both the Bettercream and the buttercream. You have to ask for it in the bakery dept. The bettercream is already whipped and has to stay refrigerated until you use it then it is shelf stable after it goes on the cake so you dont have to put you cake in the fridge. They both come in large "5 gallon" type buckets.

There is not drop of in butter in that stuff!
also comes with a 2 to 3 year shelf life.
I just do cakes from my home (LEGAL) but always make my frosting fresh.

Heehee... you may want to try samples of each before investing in a 15 or 32 gallon bucket of the stuff. I love the liquid bettercreme that I whip myself but I bought a tub at sam's and I and my family thought it was foul...and it's much harder to add flavorings to the pre-whipped items. Do you have a cake supply in your area? If so call them and ask if they sell the liquid Rich's Bettercreme. Don't assume they don't sell it just because you haven't seen it. My store keeps it in the back in the fridge so you would never know they carried it unless you ask.
Also Smart and Final carries it if you have one of those. Sadly there is no Smart and Final in dallas
so I have to pay more for it at my cake supply.

Indeed But-R-Cream is a real product, distributed by Dawn Foods and in use by many a large, big box type bakery. And some smaller bakeries also. I'll bet you've eaten it.

Yes, it is a real product used by most big box bakerys. That is why I get so many comments on my frosting, mine has real butter and flavor in it. I did check into it at Sam's but my family reminded me how much better my frosting tasted.
I had a bride tell me my cakes and frosting had so much more flavor than the local big box bakeries. I am a hobby baker but I am known for the flavor of my cakes and cookies. I won 7 ribbions for my baking at the State Fair this year. I entered 8 items and was disquilified for one item because I had too many cookies on the plate.
To each their own, I perfer fresh and real butter.
But it would be easier to buy it by the bucket!
