I am making a cake with an edible person on it, his head will be about an inch wide. He has a beard and am just trying to get tips on how to do the beard to make it look as realistic as possible! I thought if I painted it on it wouldn't look too realistic as it would look flat?

Many thanks to all your replies!!....

I roll out a piece of fondant on wax paper. Let it get a bit firm. Score your fondant to create beard texture. Then just damped your figurines chin area and lay the beard on.[/img]

@Lynne3 ‍ Those figures are fantastic! I love the headwrap on the lady - she's beautiful!
