Does anyone use gumpaste and or fondant right after making it?
Everyone recommends letting it rest overnight or at least 6 hours, but is this a must?
If you have used it right away, what difficulties or differences did you incur?

I've used it right away and the only problem I had was that it stretched more than it would have if I would have let it rest. I just would knead a little more powdered sugar in and it was fine.

There's no huge difference. I actually find it easier to use fresh.
