what are your fall favorite flavors for cupcake combinations. I bake once a month for the police department when they have their monthly meeting. My husband takes them in for me. I am running out of flavors to send.

Those are just ideas using seasonal items... I haven't actually made all of the combinations... but I have done most of them...

How about some caramel? Maybe, brown sugar cake with caramel icing! Or apple cake with caramel icing. Pumpkin with cream cheese sounds good, too! Maybe a buttered pecan cake with caramel or vanilla icing.
MMmmm....

I love carrot cupcakes with cream cheese frosting, apple cupcakes with cream cheese frosting (caramel mixed in and swirled on top), and pumpkin with cream cheese.

I just made caramel apple cupcakes with a caramel buttercream

Around this time of year I start to special "candy bar" flavored cupcakes in honor of trick or treating.
This week's specials include:
Peanut butter cup (peanut butter chiffon with a pb cup inside, topped with chocolate crumb and pb buttercream, drizzled with caramel).
Snickers Chocolate devils food stuffed with caramel filling, caramel buttercream, crushed peanuts
Caramel Creme vanilla chiffon topped with French vanilla and caramel buttercream swirled together

Recently I ran a Spiced Chai Tea latte cupcake topped with whipped cream cheese frosting. I used my regular vanilla cupcake recipe and steeped chai tea bags into the milk then let steep and cool before I used it. Delish!!
