I have a bride that has all of a sudden decided that her already over the top cake needs rhinestone ribbon. Sigh..... I expressed, my dislike of putting non edibles on my cakes but she really wants it and as long as it comes off before serving, it shouldn't be an issue. My problem is now, where the heck do I find it other than on Ebay coming from China or Hong Kong! I just had a huge near disaster with an order for cupcake wrappers that took over a month to come from China, and I dont have that kind of time. The wedding is the 14th! If I cant easily find it I am going to tell her sorry but you cant have it, but I would at least like to try to find it for her...Any ideas?

Local craft stores or fabric stores have yards of it as well as Hobby Lobby. I get mine from Save-on-crafts.com and it comes in a week. Very shiney and sparkly.

CalJava also sells bling.
They are having a 40% off sale (sale ends 10/2/12) on glam cake bands. When you compare prices at different websites, be sure to find out how WIDE each band is. The CalJava bands are 36" (1 yard) x 4-1/2" wide. You can cut several bands if you only wish to have a 2-1/4" glam ribbon.

Just an FYI--when you put it on the cake, use piping gel. Make sure to order SILVER -GSA has some but it's gold.
Looks like Sugar Delites has it at a great price. Might want to call to be sure they have it in stock. I've ordered from other locations, and it gets back ordered often.
I have a cake with this bling in my gallery.

YES dimondparty confetti dot com has an excellent and inexpensive (relatively) product. They ship quickly and cheaply too.
