Hi. I've been looking and googling, but can't quite find what I'm looking for. I have a niece who wants me to do a Tiffany Blue Box cake for her birthday, but I'm afraid I don't know exactly what shade of blue "Tiffany Blue" is. Does anyone know what colors I would need to make a "Tiffany Blue"? I don't know if that's actually the name of the blue, or if it's just a shade of blue (like light blue, baby blue, sky blue.....). Could anyone help? I need to color the fondant this weekend so any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Thanks Diana. I guess It probably doesn't really matter if I don't match it exactly, but wanted it to be fairly close. I was leaning more towards the robin egg blue, so will see what I can come up with. Thanks again!
I did a Tiffany cake a few months ago and used Wilton's Teal color. I had a Tiffany bag to match it to and it was nearly perfect!
Omimite, thanks for your response. I don't have Wilton's Teal, but I can pick some up if need be.
I also use Wilton's Teal colour for this. Add a little at a tíme because it can easily become too intense.
Believe it or not its actually called Veridian - which you can get both dark and light powder shades of... if you Google.
Everyone thinks its called Tiffany Blue - only because Tiffany & Co uses that colour box...
Veridian is perfect for what you want - saves having to mix and match colours or start with Teal...
Bluehue
If you want to see the color "in person," go to Michael's. They have a Tiffany Blue ribbon. I accidentally made it a few months ago by using sky blue and leaf green. I went searching for a ribbon to match and lo and behold it was Tiffany Blue.
