What size sheet cake pan do you use when the Wilton 12X18 isnt big enough. I am using a home oven too. Thanks, Sandy
Would it be easier to bake smaller cakes and put them side by side? I've had to do that in the past because my oven is so small. Just a thought...
Well I always use the lg Wilton sheet cake pan 12x18 that serves 54 but there are times that I need a bigger sheet cake for over 80 servings. I just wondered what size came after 12x18, I dont think Wilton makes a bigger one do they?
Where I came up with the number 54 is if I use the marker that is what it marks it to serve. Thanks,

Commercial full sheet pans don't fit in home ovens, but double-layer or side-by-side slabs can accommodate your larger serving goals.
A 12 x 18 should give you 85 - 98 servings, depending on the size of each piece. It should be plenty big enough for 80 - just how big are you cutting each piece?

????????Do you mean for a double-layer 12 x 18? If so, 98-108 easily.

Sorry - I think every cake is 2 layers. My math is not with me today. A 1 layer would yield 54 servings - you are correct - why not make 2 layers?
Yes I will be making it 2 layers for this cake. Thanks for all the help. The marker makes each piece 2x2 inch square but I will not be using it this time. Sandy
