What is the best way to attach a gumpaste gerber daisy to the side of a buttercream cake? Should I wire the daisy with floral wire and insert in cake or do you think they will just attach with some buttercream icing? I don't want them to fall off because they are too heavy. Thank you for your help!

Yes, buttercream will work. I put a ring of buttercream on the back of the flower and a dot on the cake were I want to place it. Push the flower on hold a second and you should be good to go. The wire would help for added security, but you need to but the wire in the flower when you make it.
