I recently purchased Silver Cloud's new Imitation Cream Cheese Extract. I have not had good luck with it at all. I've had to throw away several batches of icing trying to tweak the measurements. I'm hoping somebody has had better luck than me! I would love to know others experiences.

On the Silver Cloud website, it says to use half the amount of extract as cream cheese...does that really mean 4 ounces extract in place of 8 ounces cream cheese?

At that rate, and for their price, I would just use real honest to goodness cream cheese in cakes that will be refrigerated, or not offer that flavour at all. I personally don't fancy consuming that proportion of propylene glycol...

LorAnn makes cream cheese flavour that is as strong as their other flavours. This can be used with instant pudding mix (no milk ingredients) and water for those occasions when a fridge is not an option.
