Hi all, so I have been using airbrush colors for a while specifically americolor or making my own with vodka and petal dust or luster dust. I went and bought the americolor pearl/sheen airbrush colors and I shake them really well, but everytime I use them they seem to clog up the airbrush. So my question is am I just not shaking it enough. I mean it looks like everything is incorporated and this has happened several times at this point so does anyone have any advice?

I have had this same problem. Not only does it clog but the "sparkle" seems uneven and splotchy. I have all but given up on the sparkle airbrush because the time I spend having to clean it out of my airbrush is not worth it. Hope someone out there has answer for you.

I use Lucks brand pearl airbrush color, and it works pretty well. I do notice a bit of clogging after extended use, but not with I'll effect. I mix it with black or yellow/brown often for a quick silver or gold. I use an Aztek airbrush, which is super easy to clean with removable nozzles...not sure if that affects it in any way...
