I have been making cakes for almost two years now, I consider myself I good decorator, improving day by day.
there is a place that want to hire me as a freelance decorator, they are gonna provide the cakes, I will just go to fill and decorate the cakes.
my question is how much should I charge? should I charge by hour or by cake?
Im really confused
thanks

If you're hired as a freelance decorator, they want you to be a self-employed contractor. If you live in the U.S., you should check with the IRS about employee vs contractor. I'm not sure you fit the definition. That leaves you with all the employment/tax responsibilities, gives you no protection for workplace injury, and involves you in tax fraud.
