Jem easy rose cutter....

I have been thinking about giving these a shot, does anyone have a good example on what size rose each cutter will make? GSA has the 50mm, 60mm, 80mm, 90mm, 100mm, and 110mm cutters in stock, but I'm not sure which sizes to get!

Get them all??

(they range from about 2" - 4.5", so you could experiment w/which sizes you like best or get the results you're looking for... once you figure that out and know your favorite size, it's still useful to have an assortment of sizes.)

Hi, the op is correct. I have them all. I love them all for different things. I googled comparison chart for the sizes. Helps a lot. You will love them.

I have them all as well and am glad I do. I like to use 2 sizes when making a rose, do the first set of petals with a smaller size and use the next larger size for the 2nd or 3rd set of petals. HTH.

Let me just warn you that the JEM cutters might look good, but it's HARD to get the cut piece out neatly.

Have a look at metal cutters or plastic ones that do not have solid backs, it will be a lot easier to get your flower shapes out.

FYI the rose will end up about half the height of the cutter's size when finished. So getting several sizes is good.

Ivish I could get em all right now... Probably go woth. 2 to start. Yeah I figured I'd mix and match them to make flowers. It just hard to judge them by the info/photos online.

JEM cutters used to be a real pain, there is a trick to using them. Don't treat them like cookie cutters. But Invest in the jem roller pad,

I never have an issue using the JEM cutters. I cut out on dusted surface (celboard or granite), then flip the cutter over with the piece still in it, go over the edges with my fingers to make sure the cut is clean, flip back and tap the cutter to get out the piece. If it doesn't tap out, I just use the blunt end of a cel stick or paint brush thru the center opening to get it started.

I have a couple JEM rose cutters but somehow the bags with the size has been lost.  How o you measure the cutter to determine what size cutter you have?
