I have been freezing cupcakes with no problem up until now!! I usually wrap them in plastic wrap then place in a freezer bag and they are good to go! For some reason when I do that now, my cupcakes are loosing their fluffiness and wrinkling at the bottom. So my question is... can I place my cupcakes in the plastic cupcake containers (the plastic containers that grocery stores sell their cupcakes in.. not tupperware)... and wrap the container with plastic wrap and freeze???? HELP!! Thanks everyone

That's fine. I have seen bakeries put completed cupcakes (frosting, sprinkles & all) in the plastic cupcake containers and then freeze them. You don't need the plastic wrap unless maybe you plan to leave them in the freezer for a VERY long time
