Hi,
So if I cover a cake board with fondant what do I do with the bottom edges?
It doesn't seem like tucking them under would work or does it?
TIA

Hi, when I cover the board in fondant, I cover just the top and attach a ribbon around the edges. icon_smile.gif

I find adding a bit of tylose helps as I keep flippin' knocking it or resting my arm as I concentrate on something else and leaving dents.

Also, placing moist cake directly on top can cause fermentation of the icing you have covered your board with- yuck- so make your cake on a single thick that you will never see and when you're ready to place it on the nice covered board use a little royal icing to stop it slipping off. Hope that makes sense!

i apply a thin layer of piping gel with a brush underneath. that helps it stick.
