What do you do with the left over , extra frosting? also the extra colored ones inthe piping bags. is there any way we can know how much to prepare before hand. even if i store it in the fridge or freezer it develops a particular odor so ultimaltely i have to throw it.
Would like to know what does every one do with it or do you refrigerate/ freeze it without any problem.
Thanx a ton.
I heard you can freeze it. Wrapping it with cellophane a couple of times, then put the lid on it and store it. When it s time to reuse it, untaw, stir and use.
I apply it directly to my hips.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
What kind of odor? How long is it stored when the odor develops? It may be as simple as cleaning out your appliance, putting a box of baking soda in the appliance, or wrapping the frosting better.
I have always frozen mine without any problem. I like having frosting already made in case I want to make a cake or cupcakes.
I put it in the freezer either in a zip lock or a tupperware type container. Once in a while I will put the icing still in the decorating bag into a container and freeze it that way. I've never noticed an off flavor doing it.

The far right column gives you an idea of how much icing and filling for the different size pans.
