Which stand mixer to buy?

Hello! I am pretty new to the cake decorating scene, but I seem to have a natural talent for it and do so much enjoy it. I am hoping to very soon start a home business under the cottage food law. My question is what kind of stand mixer do you have/have had and do you love it or hate it? I am about to invest in one and would really like some insight. Thank you!

I have a kitchen aid that is 10 years old but find that the pin that holds it together is constantly moving out. I have to turn the mixer on it's side and hammer it back in. Otherwise, itis decently powerful. I would look into the ratings of other brnads and models.

I'd look at a Cuisinart or Viking. KitchenAid just isn't what it used to be. I have my mother's KA which is probably 50 years old. The newer one will NOT last that long. Or anywhere near that long.
