my niece's nanny is going to get married in 2 months and she asked me to make the cake, covered with fondant. The place of the reception is 1h driving far away.. I've never delevery a cake, always people come to pick cakes up at my home.
So do you all have any tips to share? Im worried 1h is too far and the cake cant make it safe!

Since it's your first delivery, you may wish to transport the cake unstacked, and stack it on site. Just make sure the cake is chilled, and your vehicle is nice and cold, and it should not be a problem. icon_smile.gif Use nonskid mats under the cake, this is cheap and almost foolproof. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B002AS9NAI/?tag=cakecentral-20+roll
