DH Signature Series Cake Mixes still 18.25 oz

I was at Walmart today and noticed that the signature series cakes which include French Vanilla, Red Velvet and other flavors like lemon are strill 18.25 oz boxes but the regular flavors, white, chocolate and devil's food are 16.x oz. Also the signature series is 25 cents more. So $1.50 a box for me at my Walmart.

Has anyone tested out the signature series flavors. I know lots of people have tried the 16 oz boxes and talked about an increase in levening and air. If DH 18.25 oz are still the original formula, I have no problem changing my base WASC to French Vanilla.

I use their red velvet mix for my red velvet bars. Haven't noticed any difference. Hope that helps!

I have always used the french vanilla flavor. I prefer the taste over the white mix. My Walmart sometimes has trouble keeping it in stock so I stock up when I find it.

I wondered why the cost was more the other day when i went and bought some never looked at the ounce size until right now yeah i get a hump with the larger size but i still use them

My WalMart hasn't had DH French Vanilla for months. And Jello instant in French Vanilla is missing too. Need to go to Stop and Shop and pay a lot more (IF I can find them there). It's like a little alien came down and gobbled all French Vanilla mixes up for their fuel. icon_smile.gif
