my grandmothers church is having a Bazaar tomorrow and im manning the baked goods. how much should i sell chocolate chip cookies for? they are home made and sized with a cookie scoop. im thinking $0.50 each and $5 for a dozen. what do you guys think?

It really depends on how much it cost you to make them. I have to charge more than that for cookies because I use more expensive chocolate. How much did your ingredients cost for 1 batch and how much did that one batch make?
im donating the baked goods to raise money for her church. so there is not going to be a profit regardless of my costs.
There should still be a profit...if you are selling below your cost it would be more efficient to just giving the money you spent on ingredients directly to the church.
It's not just the ingredients that have a cost to them. Remember that you'll have spent money on running the oven, mixer etc, icing bags etc and if you're using any packaging there's that as well.
When I do this type of thing I triple the cost of all ingredients and then divide by the number of cookies. Then you have your price per cookie. This way all costs and extras (time, electricity, gas, etc) are covered.
If it costs me $10 in ingredients and the recipe makes 3 dozen cookies. I would charge .80 cents per cookie. I think that is fair and it is not an unreasonable price. Each type of cookie would have a different price, depending on ingredients.
