I'm getting married september 8, I'm making my own wedding cake, but am considering making a grooms cake too...maybe even just a fake for display... I've had toppers made, me with a hockey jersey over my dress of my fave team and hubby in a jersey of his fave team...so I'd like to make a cake the incorporates both team logos or colours or something that the toppers would look cute on...

I thought of maybe a small two tier with a jersey or scarf or something of each team draped down the sides and the toppers up top...

any creative ideas would be appreciated!

Both teams are hockey are they? If so what about making a sculpted hockey ball cake for the top tier and either have the colours on the bottom tier or your scarf idea for that one?

These are not my cakes, and I may not be crazy about them, but they are good for ideas.
