What Alcohol Goes Good With What Cake?

Does anyone know any good combinations of alcohol and cake flavors?
The ones that cake to my mind were:
Chocolate Cake: Jack Daniles, Amaretto, Raspberry liqueur
Pineapple Cake: Coconut rum
Vanilla Cake: Amaretto, Raspberry liqueur
I know there are endless possibilities but I would like you to let me know which ones you love and have worked for you.

Dark chocolate and Merlot

I like Chambord and chocolate cake, and Grand Marnier with just about any cake!
