i want to buy a book in which decoration is shown using butter Icing, Whip cream, chocolate and also decoration for dome cake.

i already have The Intl School of SugarCraft book 2 - Nicholas Lodge, There r so many ways but most of them r done on marzipan or fondant.

I'm attaching 2 simple decorated pics from Intl school of sugarcraft and want to buy book which shows similar kind of decoration simple & elegant.

I hope somebody can sugest me the right kind of book which i can use it as reference and practice to improve my skills.

Not sure what book to recommend, but I can recommend some techniques to research.

The side of both cakes is decorated with a Wilton comb. The top of the pink cakes & the right side of the chocolate cake are decorated with Cornelli lace. The border of the pink cake is a shell border. The top right side of the chocolate cake is also decorated with a rosette.

Almost all (& maybe all) of those techniques are taught in the Wilton method. Before purchasing a book, even the Wilton books (which are very economical) I would search the web. There are many resources for these techniques.

Thanks for replaying but its not the techniques what Im looking for almost every technique there is I'm sure i know, i may take 20 to 30 minutes but i can decorate the cake & present it as professional.

I'm looking for magazine/book which has HQ pics of cakes for birthday or any occasions except marzipan/fondant/sugar flowers/wedding and cake recipes.

I just want some book having full size hq pics of cake which i can refer or inspire to create my own version of Gateau.

I hope somebody can help me finding the right kind of book/magazine which only has full size hq cakes pics and not wasting pages showing recipe and method of how to decorate the cakes.

Sounds like you need some old school books from before fondant was really popular. Try looking at the library; I love checking out cake books there before I buy to see if I like it.
