This has been mentioned before but I wanted to post it again. I have formed a cake club in the Nashville, TN area, we started in November 2009. We are not a private club but we get our info out and communicate with each other through a "Yahoo Group". You cannot find the group by doing a search at Yahoo groups, you can only get to if an "invite" is sent to you. We meet once a month, the second Sunday of the month at 2:00pm. We are a small group and currently meet in a members home. We usually have one or two demos (by members), sometimes hands on, at each meeting. We share our cake pictures, talk lots of cake talk, sometimes we just visit, have a party or a cookout.
