I have never used, tasted or seen ganache. How do I make it...how do I use it...how do I scrape it....how do I store it. Sorry for all of the questions. I would like to broaden my horizons. Any info. Is greatly appreciated.

Ganache is 2:1 chocolate to cream.
Boil the cream and pour over chocolate pieces. After a couple of minutes it should all be melted and able to mix. Leave it out to firm up a little then you can spread it like buttercream.
Ganache stores outside the fridge very well.

I watched a few you tube videos that were very helpful. I had read you have to scrape it and reaply is this true.

Here's a long thread I just wrote on another forum about the "Great Ganache Experiment". I took LOTS of photos and provided links for recipes and videos.

The Inspired by Michelle video is VERY helpful. (The link is contained in this thread.)
