Pettinice vs. Satin Ice

I used pre made fondant for the first ins and used Pettinice. I like the way it looks and it seemed to dry/harden quickly. However, it seemed really soft and stick while working with it. Is Satin Ice the same way? What do you use and why? I can tell you I won't be going back to making MMF ever again. Wow, the time and headache it saves buying it! And one stay, the Pettinice doesn't taste that bad.

I use both PettinIce and SatinIce. I also find PIce soft and a little more difficult to use, especially if you're not experienced with fondant. SIce is stiffer. But the Best idea - mix either one 50/50 with Wilton fondant. You get the taste of the good stuff and the workability of W. And it stretches the cost effectiveness.

The Wilton doesn't make it taste bed? I know that mixing with gum paste makes it taste funny. Not horrible but I can tell. I do find the pettinice easier than mmf though.
